The year 1986 saw the modest beginnings of what was to be the dawn of new era in cargo movement - Sahil Enterprises began conducting the business of handling door-to-door delivery of personnel effects shipments, which also included custom clearance of the goods. Over a period of time, we became professionals in handling consignments that came in to the country from any part of the world and transporting it further to any corner of india, and vice-versa, including packing & repacking. Today, we undertake the entire gamut of operations involved, as clearing and forwarding agents of repute, reknowned around the globe for our excellent service. In the year 1989, the company got the Custom House Agent Licence issued by the Collector of Customs, Mumbai.

As the years rolled by, the list of satisfied clientele grew and consiquently so did business. As a result of this, a logical expansion move in 1994 saw the birth of Sahil Shipping as Non Vessel Owner Cargo Carriers (NVOCC)and International Freight Forwarders. Once again, dedicated service along with business accumen led to the rise of Sahil Shipping and within a short span of 2-3 years, the company has gained recognition as one of the leading world-wide LCL Consolidators (Small Cargo Carriers)in India, having our own warehouses nominated by Port Trust and Central Warehousing Corporation. Along with a variety of other services, Sahil Shipping also offer daily container stuffing and continuous carting services. Tie-up arrangements with leading international partners assists in efficient cargo delivery worldwide. Latest state-of-the-art technologcal back-up helps in instant cargo tracking Bill of Lading wise as well as on the basis of Shipping Bill. In the year 1996, Sahil Shipping were given the Multimodal Transport Operators Licence issued by Director General of Shipping.

The ever increasing demand on the services offered by Sahil Shipping and the growing load of business operations, led to the formation of Conship Lines Services as a sub-division under Sahil Shipping. Operating as an extension to the business, Conship lines actively complements the functioning of Sahil Shipping by issuing Bills of Lading. It was indeed a moment of pride and sense of glorious achievement when the Director General of Shipping alloted us the Multimodal Transport Operator Licence. Conship lines also has a committed involvement in LCL & FCL cargo movement to and from our counterparts across the globe. We are proud of the worldwide recognition we have received and the international accolades showered on us for our high degree of competence, profeciency and excellence in service.

As the gamut of operations had. by now, crossed national borders and finally entrenched itself into the international cargo movements scenario, October 1995 saw Sahil Freight Express Pvt.Ltd. begin operations as Shipping Clearing, Forwarding & International Freight Forwarding Agents. Among its Business activities, the company undertakes import-export of general cargo, chemical, refrigerated cargo etc. Sahil Freight has tie-ups with international partners and receives logistics support which has translated into superior services, quicker on-time deliveries at economical costs. Also, tie-ups with various warehousing companies aids us in utilising those facilties to store cargo of various shapes, sizes and weights. We also arrange the insurance of your cargo at reasonable premiums.
