Bituminous coal base granular&powdered activated carbon, mainly produced in Shanxi province, for its high adsorption rate for larger molecules (the odor and color molecules) and small bed resistance, especially for its overwhelming competitive prices, mostly exports to the United States in large quantity for water treatment (drinking water, industrial and municipal wasterwater, ground water, process water, aquarium, etc) and other liquid&gas phase applications.
Anthracite base pelletized (extruded) activated carbon, wholly made in Ningxia region, for its low ash, high mechanical strength, readily regeneration, well developed micropore structure and superior adsorption properties, mostly exports to Western Europe for vapor-phase uses.
